Professional Profile
Early medical education was in Edinburgh and orthopaedic training in Oxford, with fellowships in Birmingham and Japan, are the background to my current practice. I have developed a research and clinical interest in childhood dysplasia and have an adult practice in lower limb joint replacement and musculoskeletal tumours. My tenured University commitment allows research and teaching opportunities within these fields. My NHS commitments are based at the New Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh and the Royal Hospital for Sick Children, Edinburgh.
